The music box scene from chitty chitty bang bang is one of the examples of robotic maniquinesque dance i see as inspiration for the non projection dance from the style fluidity and the heavy doll make up though we will tone that down to suit our project i see this as a good source to draw from
another aspect i would like to incorporate from this source is the clockwork movement noises with i am hoping to experiment within the piece
